Independent and adventurous. You don't want much; just to break out of the guilded cage society has put you in and experience life to the fullest. Following orders isn't really one of your strong points, and you would rather live a life of poverty than being forced into something that you hate.

Famous?

Down the street from us lives this great guy named Garland (really that's his name) and he is a great photographer.. well, a couple of years ago he offered to take some pictures of our family for his portfolio. It would help show that he could do large groups and since we have more kids than anyone else he knows...

Anyway. He had our family go down and get in the river. The photos turned out great and several of them are sitting on my piano. :)

When Mikayla came, Garland again offered to do pictures of us. I can honestly say... the hubby and I were both thinner in the last ones. But anyhow... I overheard Garland tell my husband that he had used one of our previous portraits for one of his clients...?

I missed the rest of the conversation because I was surrounded by 6 kids and somehow got distracted.

Garland sent me a link to someplace where I could look at the new picts he had taken as well as a copy of thing he had used our photo for. It is for some mailer from a hospital here in WA (in Monroe, wherever that is) to encourage use of local hospitals for minor medical procedures. The picture he used was of the Hubby and myself.

I think it is kind of odd to imagine our faces in the mailboxes of a bunch of strangers. My hubby thinks we will be sort of famous in Monroe. Really... I just wonder if it will hurt when we get recycled.

TRADITION!!

My family... the big ones and the girlfriend... all went to a Mariners baseball game this evening and left me home with the littles. I felt somewhat cheated.... but then again Mikayla is a little young to appreciate garlic-fries so I guess it is okay. That and there is enough laundry waiting to be folded I could easily be busy for atleast another month just matching the socks. :( Anyway... that is a whole different gripe.
I woke this morning and realized that we are yet again in a new month... which in my family means... Rabbit! Rabbit!
Don't ask me what this means because I really don't know. The whole point is to say it to someone before they say it to you. Otherwise you have to wait the entire month to "get them" first.
Somewhere I once read about some superstition about saying bunny, bunny but I cannot remember where I read it or what importance it had in normal society. All I know is we say it every month at my house.
Why? I don't know. But I said it first....
