I forgot...

I think of all sorts of things to blog about when I am nowhere near the computer.... but by the time I sit down I have forgotten everything I wanted to say. Jellybean says it is because of Mikayla. Maybe he's right. Currently I am taking pills to lower my blood pressure to stop contractions and I have been instructed by the doctor that my iron is too low (I am supposed to increase my intake by 350 mg a day) and also I am suppose to stay off my feet as much as possible.
Maybe I am losing my mind like Jellybean thinks....

This afternoon I have an appointment for another ultrasound. This one is to see how far into the labor process I have progress since my last ultrasound several weeks ago. It is also to see how big Mikayla has grown.

Honestly, since I have reached the 200lb. mark I have to say I hope she is growing. I read on a parenting web site that at the stage that I am at... Mikayla is only about the size of an ear of corn. Excuse me?

It is not that I want her to be a ginormous baby when it comes time for her to "boom" out (as Jellybean calls it) but good grief... if she is only the size of an ear of corn and weighs a little over a pound.... that means that all of the rest....is ME!

I think I will go cry now... and have a Ding Dong.

Missing photos...

For Christmas I received a digital camera. Its silverish and has a memory card that holds like 1700 pictures. It's cute and not too terribly big. Somehow you can not only take pictures with it but you can even record short movie blips. Rather fancy for my little world.
I plugged the camera into the computer to download the pictures. I thought I was watching to see where they went.....
I cannot find the pictures. They appear to have disappered into the deep unknow of the computer. Ugh!
Hopefully when one of my teenagers come home they can help me locate them. I am slightly miffed and very baffeled at this experience.
