It is amazing to me how much she has changed in such a short time. (I can look at my boys and feel just as amazed at how much they have grown. Where has all the time gone?) "Time will fly; she will be grown,... soaring into the world and give what she came here for. She came to us to teach us our lessons, to give us joy, to make us whole and to connect us to God." -Jeanette Lisefski quoted.

Cheese alert!
Today is the 5th month anniversary of the birth of my precious daughter. For some reason this makes me feel sappy. So there. "She slips into this world, and into my arms, placed there by
heaven. She is straight from God. An indescribable gift. ... In her eyes I see total recognition, unconditional love and complete trust. We are so glad you are here. We waited so long
to see you. "

Only a second.
My herd is all out of school early this week for parent/teacher conference. Brownie is home at his usual time of 8:45ish then off to college before returning home around noon. Blondie is home by about 10:40... with Squish following right on his heels at 11:45. Jellybean is extra lucky and has been home all week to "help" me take care of Princess Petey. (He changed her diaper the other day all by himself... she laughed the whole time so I guess it was okay.)
Needless to say.. I haven't had a minute to myself for days. Nothing is getting accomplished... I had two PTC meetings yesterday and have two more today. (Brownie and Squish are both doing great in school and their teachers think they are great.)
I have ordered trophies for two soccer teams... had two soccer practices... washed several loads of laundry... folded a few of them... fixed several meals... made koolaid... again... taken kids to the bus and picked them up... gotten very little sleep and spent lots of time one-on-one with Princess Petey. Somewhere along the way I remember receiving a kiss from my true love. Oh, and I still haven't made it to the book fair to get Squish that Star Wars book he is lusting over.
Such is life I guess. Maybe next week I can catch up on everthing I am missing this week.

I need some space.
I could afford it....but where would I put it?
Free house, if you haul it away
This Home is Worth $307,949
But you can get it for just $180k!
KAYSVILLE, Utah (AP) - Is the credit crunch keeping you from getting a home loan? Well, here's a little beauty you can have for free.
You just have to pay to haul it away.
Jacquie Jones of Kaysville, Utah, is offering a three-bedroom brick bungalow built in 1910. She says the home has to make way for new houses she's building on the lot.
She says the home was featured in one of the "Benji" movies and an episode of "Touched By An Angel."
She would rather give it away than see it bulldozed. She says it would cost at least $18,000 to lift the house and take the garage, more depending on the distance of the move.

Tramatic.
Saturday in our world is soccer day. I has been this way for atleast the last 9 years and probably will be until they have to pry a flat soccer ball out of my hubby's cold dead hands. (Halloween is coming!)
Squish had his game bright and early, 9am, and almost scored a goal. Dang that goal post!

Both of my youngest boys are "playing" this season and my hubby is coaching both teams. Squish is on a team called "Cobras". He is actually rather good. His team has a goalie this year and they are fun to watch.
Jellybean, on the other hand, spends most of his time running around in circles watching his feet (he did this same movement when he played t-ball last spring). He is more than happy to kick the ball if somehow the soccer ball hits his feet on accident. My hubby gets very frustrated.
Apparently Jellybean is non-athletic. My hubby hopes he will out grow this. :) He is always telling Jellybean to pay attention.

Jellybean's game came later in the day after it had warmed up a degree or two. He was out on the field with his team. They are the "Red Fire Bull Dogs" (the kids could not agree on only one name and the hubby didn't want to make anyone cry...). the team was stretching out when Jellybean squealed.
I could tell it was a real one, even when I heard his dad disagree with him.

"You did not. Go see mom."
My sweet baby came to me, holding his face and crying. "It got my cute cheek!"
Jellybean had been stung by a bee. He was so upset about his cute cheek. I comforted him and found him some super cold mud to put on his little face. Poor kid. His little face kind of swelled up so he received some Benadryl when we got home (Who took the stuff out of the car???).
He sat out for most of the game before he was brave enough to get back on the field. He still just ran around in circles though. I don't think he ever touched the ball but he pointed out every bee that flew by. Atleast he was paying attention to something.
